For those who do not wish to trek to the Everest region, the Everest-experience mountain flight is a great alternative to view the eastern mountain range of Nepal. All four of Nepal’s leading airlines Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines, Guna Airlines and Simrik Air conduct the 55 minute to 1 hour Everest flight. The flight costs around US$ 230 per person. Each passenger is guaranteed a window seat. Mountain flights start around 6:30 am in the morning and passengers are required to arrive at the airport around 5:30 am. And a full refund is provided if flights are cancelled due to bad weather.
